BBQ Fest 2006
06/05/06 - While I haven't gotten our score cards yet, I have gotten a pdf list of the final standings for every contest. Trailer Pork placed 54th out of 109 in Ribs, 37th out of 96 in Seafood, and 83rd out of 88 in Hot Wings. For the full list download the file.
2nd Annual Pre-MIM Team Party
02/24/06 - The date is set. Mark your calendars. APRIL 8th @ Wally Greens' house. 3ish till whenever. Ribs will be ready between 6-7. I will send out a map when we get closer to the day.

11/09/05 - So this time last year we were well on our way to putting the team together. Since we already have the team we will start a little bit later. I'm looking at having a team meeting sometime in December. At said meeting we'll be passing out team duties to those of you who feel like you want to step up and have a hand in making 2006 even better. i.e. Guy has been campaigning to be the Entertainment V.P. He claims he can get some more ladies up in the joint. So as soon as he sends me some political kick backs I will gladly appoint him. Also, For all of you aspiring cooks and veteran rib throwers I have decide to only cook on the day of the competition. I would like to get drunk for a few day before hand. So what does this mean? It means we are going to need cooks for Wed., Thurs., and Friday. So email me 50 words or less, telling me why I should let you cook and on which day you would like to cook. If no one volunteers we won't get to eat until Saturday. I'll even let you pick out your own menu. Maybe we'll have a mini competition of our own.

11/09/05 - WOW! What a waste of time and money. I would like to thank everyone that participated. A Big Thanks to You! I hope you have had a chance to catch up on your sleep. For those of you who didn't, you didn't miss anything. Needless to say the contest is a little unorganized and could use some ground rules starting with "Quiet Hours!" Our results: Ribs-10th, Bloody Mary-5th, and sauce-8th. Hope you are all doing well.
